Large Scale Commercial Farmers (LSCF)
Description
This fund was launched in December 2024 as a mechanism to support large scale farmers to produce 132,600 Metric tons (MT) of maize, beans, soya beans, sorghum and animal feed.
The partners involved include; Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, The Grain Council of Uganda (TGCU), Post Bank, Pride Micro Finance, Housing Finance Bank, Uganda Framers Federation.
Beneficiaries
Companies, Cooperatives and other formal qualifying entities.
With available land or engaged in large scale farming with minimum of 50 acres of land
